Picture of Baby Beagle

Beagles are very cute and infinitely sweet and vivacious when young, and to please your eye and heart, you can find a Beagle Photo site and view a good Picture of Baby Beagle. This is one of the most popular breeds of dogs for today. Beagles have a very endearing outer appearance and vivid temperament, which makes them superb family pets. Initially bred as hound dogs, they possess a phenomenal sense of smell, and they enjoy playing games that involve scenting and tracking tasks.

More often than not, it is just the good old Picture-of-Baby-Beagle experience that makes people want to get a Beagle puppy in their homes. For this reason, many people buy Beagles without much thought of possible difficulties. Beagles, though cute and sweet-tempered, can be a little hard to train because of their willful nature and eternal love of scents. Lack of experience is just one reason why people become disappointed and, unable to properly handle their Beagles, surrender them to rescue organizations or simply cast them out. Lack of fencing or walking Beagles without a lead is yet another way for Beagles to rescue clubs. Beagles like to follow scents, and once a dog gets one, it is quite hard to distract him from it.

Beagles descended from the Old Foxhound, and they bear a certain resemblance to this dog. However, they are much smaller, have shorter legs and have a different countenance. Beagle-like dogs have been around for many centuries, but it was not until the 1800s that the breed actually took on its current shape. The Beagle of today has retained his exceptional scenting aptitudes, which have been cultivated for as long as the dog has been involved in hunting various types of game. As we can see, it takes more than a look at a Picture of Baby Beagle to fully realize the responsibilities and hardships that accompany Beagle ownership.

Today, there are two recognized Beagle types: Beagles measuring 13 inches high at the shoulder or smaller; and Beagles with wither height not exceeding 15 inches. So called Miniature or Pocket Beagles are not recognized by any major club because of their unhealthy gene pool. Standard-sized Beagles come in various color permutations, including tri-color, usually consisting of white, black and red (lemon, tan) and bi-color. There are also Bluetick and Blue-mottled Beagles, as well as other varieties. Here we can conclude that a Picture of Baby Beagle is not yet a reason why you should buy a Beagle puppy, unless you are prepared to sacrifice a due amount of your time, energy and money to make your dog happy.
